The Denver Broncos made big news on Monday when they fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett before he could finish out his first season. The team wasn’t done making moves to their coaching staff, as they announced several more moves at night.

Denver revealed that it had fired two more coaches from the staff. “The Broncos have relieved Special Teams Coordinator Dwayne Stukes and Offensive Line Coach Butch Barry of their duties,” the team announced in a tweet.

The team also announced their replacements, as Mike Mallory and Ben Steele will overtake special teams and offensive line duties.

Denver has not enjoyed much success this season. The team made headlines in the offseason by acquiring Super Bowl Champion quarterback Russell Wilson. But Wilson, who the Broncos gave $245 million, has underperformed dramatically in a disastrous season. The Broncos are 4-11 and sit dead last in the AFC West, two games behind the Las Vegas Raiders.

Hackett proved lowly himself. He was ripped on from Week 1 onward and it never really got on the tracks for him. Unfortunately, one firing begets a few others, as the team decided to move on from two other coaches.

CBS’ Boomer Esiason forecasted big changes for Denver on Christmas. This came after the Los Angeles Rams blasted the Broncos 51-14 in L.A. That Patrick Star ripped Wilson was, apparently, the final straw. Those big changes seem to already be in motion as Bronco fans may see a completely different look next season.
