For the past eight seasons, Myles Garrett has been a staple on the Cleveland Browns. But after requesting a trade from the organization, Garrett further made it clear that he has no intention of playing another game for the Browns moving forward.
According to Cleveland Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot, Garrett’s agents have “slammed the door shut” on any possibility of an extension, as Garrett is unwilling to negotiate with the Browns any longer.

This obviously potentially forces the hand of the Browns to potentially move Garrett this offseason. While Garrett does have two years remaining on his six-year contract that he signed in 2020, it sure seems likely that he may even be willing to holdout for a significant portion of the offseason, which could perhaps even spill into the 2025 regular season.
Despite this, the Browns organization has continuously declared that they will not be honoring Garrett’s wishes for a trade request.
Perhaps Garrett has a change of heart between now and then. But in the meantime, there will certainly be rumors swirling about which team could potentially be an ideal landing spot for Garrett.
