The Cleveland Browns were not expected to be very good this season. However, that doesn’t make the struggles on the field any less frustrating for the players. After two games, Cleveland is 0-2 with two divisional losses thus far in 2025 after falling to the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
It seems as if one player in particular is espeically frustrated with how the early part of the season is going for Cleveland.
“Shit’s embarrassing. We got to be better on defense. We got to be better as a team. They slowly chipped away and we did a solid job, holding them to 3 when we could, and then eventually the dam broke and they just did whatever they want, and we have to continue to play a 60-minute game,” said star defensive lineman Myles Garrett, according to Daniel Oyefusi.
Fans reacted to Garrett’s words on social media.
“It’s a continuation of last year. Going to be a long crappy season unless they catch lightning with one of the rookie QBs. Least fans Sundays can be free by October…just like last year,” someone else added.
“What would be great is if Garrett starts calling out players on offense and special teams. That would show leadership, which is sorely lacking with a team searching for a winning culture,” one fan added.
“Get rid of Stefanski and Berry as well as Ventrone. This group is ineffective. Fire them now and let Schwartz finish the season,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Garrett’s words inspire his teammates or contribute to a toxic locker room.
