Siri Browns

The Cleveland Browns are experiencing yet another transition year and continue to be the punchline of the NFL. Things have gotten so dire that even digital personal assistants are taking jabs at them.

As Cleveland.com found out, when you’re in the Cleveland area and ask Siri for directions to sadness, it brings up directions to FirstEnergy Stadium, the home of the Browns. The same thing apparently happens when you ask for the Factory of Sadness.

There’s no word on what happens when you ask for directions to “endless disappointment land” or “please win more than seven gamesville,” but I’d bet the destination would be the same.

Somebody on the Siri development team must be a Cleveland Browns fan and experienced some sadness themselves. Cleveland hasn’t made the playoffs since 2002, and it doesn’t look like they’ll put an end to the streak anytime soon. Being a Browns fan is an experience I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.

For the record, the Browns won just two of their eight home games last season. But they did go 4-4 in both 2012 and 2014 – maybe the factory of sadness can be a little more positive if the Browns manage to win some games on the road in future seasons.
