As the NFL Scouting Combine nears, former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young is widely considered the top quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft according to most draft analysts. But it looks like fans and NFL teams are going to have to wait until his pro day to see him throw.

According to a report from league insider Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network, Bryce Young has decided that he will not throw at the upcoming NFL Combine, even though fellow top quarterback C.J. Stroud out of Ohio State has decided that he will throw at the combine.

“Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud will throw at this week’s NFL Scouting Combine, while Alabama QB Bryce Young will wait to do so for his pro day, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. Young is long past his AC joint injury from this season, but he’ll just do interviews in Indy,” Rapoport said in a tweet.

It’s a pretty big decision for arguably the top quarterback in the draft, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

We’ll have to see how this decision works out for him as he goes through the full NFL Draft process in hopes of being the No. 1 overall pick.
