The new NFL season is days away, and the Buffalo Bills are giving their players a chance to prepare for the season by reading mean tweets aimed at them now. What better way to prepare them for the criticisms to come once they start stumbling on the field and disappointing Bills fans through the Buffalo region?
The act of reading mean tweets in front of a camera is nothing new. It’s been around for a few years now, if not longer. The Bills keep the tradition going by having players like Tyrod Taylor, Sammy Watkins, and Aaron Taylor and more read criticisms of them from good old, Twitter dot com. There is plenty of material to be found there, and the Bills cleaned up a chunk of it where needed.
One tweet that stood out was aimed at Richie Incognito.
“Richie Incognito looks like somebody stuck a 9-year old’s head into the shoulder pads of another NFL player,” the tweet claimed. Incognito took it in stride, smiled and said “That is true.”

One can only hope the Bills keep this going during the season.
