An explosion at the suburban Charlotte home owned by Tennessee Titans’ cornerback Caleb Farley Monday night killed one person and injured one other person. As per Joe Bruno of Charlotte ABC affiliate WSOC, the person killed was Farley’s father Robert:

The father of Tennessee Titans Cornerback Caleb Farley died Tuesday morning after a reported explosion leveled Farley’s house near Lake Norman in Mooresville.

One person died early Tuesday morning and one person was hurt, according to Iredell County Emergency Management.

…A news release from emergency management said that first responders were called to the home on Barber Loop after a reported explosion. First responders found one victim who was “exiting the house,” and they were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One person was later found dead in the debris. Family members said the victim is Robert Farley, Caleb Farley’s father. Iredell County Emergency Management confirmed Robert Farley was the victim, and added that Caleb wasn’t home at the time of the explosion.

Titans’ head coach Mike Vrabel weighed in on this Tuesday, offering his sympathies to Farley and the family:
