Former Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton has seen his career fall on hard times, failing to get on an NFL roster last season. However, it seems like he has a plan to get back on the radar of NFL teams.

Newton took to social media to release a hype video to announce that he will be throwing at Auburn’s Pro Day on Tuesday. In the video, he made his feelings clear that he is upset about “randoms” getting signed over him in free agency thus far.

“Tell me how these randoms keep getting jobs,” Newton started the video by saying. “Imma show you, I can’t wait to show you. I’ve seen a lot of people toying the idea, and it’s official. I will be throwing at Auburn’s pro day Tuesday.”

Newton added at the end that he doesn’t believe that there are 32 quarterbacks better than him starting in the NFL currently. Regardless of whether or not that is true, many are certainly excited to see Newton show off his skills on Tuesday.

The former MVP winner last played in five games back in 2021 with the Carolina Panthers. Carolina did not fare well in those starts, losing all five games with Cam Newton under center.

At 33 years old, Newton clearly still feels like he can compete and potentially win a starting job on an NFL team again. NFL teams will get their chance to see where Newton is at in his career on Tuesday.
