Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is intimidating enough on the gridiron. He’s 6’5″ and 245 pounds and with pads on he can bulldoze himself through defenses with ease.
Now imagine him swimming towards you with a water polo ball and the same amount of strength he has in an NFL game, but this time, no pads to ease the blow.
Yep, that's @CameronNewton playing water polo. #AllinWithCam pic.twitter.com/h9yQHUPsyR

Can you imagine being on the other end of that throw? Newton agrees it wouldn’t be easy.
Forget LeBron James playing football, Cam Newton should be on the United States Water Polo team in Rio this summer. After all, he would be tied for the fourth-tallest on the team and he’d weigh the most, meaning taking him down in the water wouldn’t be easy. On top of that, he’s almost certainly have one of the fastest and hardest-to-block throws in the game.
But can he dab in water? That’s the question.
