The Carolina Panthers may be struggling so far this season with just a 2-7 record through nine games including an extremely embarrassing blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend. But when the Panthers take the field against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night, at least they’ll look good.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Carolina Panthers rolled out an extremely sharp blackout uniform combination including black pants, a black jersey, and a nice matte black helmet that the team will debut for the first time on Thursday night.

“The Panthers are debuting their black helmets to go along with their all black uniforms this Thursday night against the Falcons,” NFL reporter Field Yates said on Twitter while sharing the images.

The uniforms quickly went viral on social media and the NFL world certainly had plenty to say about them. In general, the all-black combination and the new helmet got pretty good reviews.

The Panthers will rock the new uniform on Thursday night as they take on the division-leading Falcons just a few weeks after losing an overtime thriller in Atlanta thanks to a rollercoaster of a play from star wide receiver DJ Moore.

The Panthers have now lost five of their last six games.
