Chad Johnson, a.k.a Ochocinco at one point in his NFL career, will apparently be back in the league in 2016. All it took was a little bit of marketing and begging via Twitter and Johnson will be joining the Cleveland Browns for the 2016 season.
Don’t worry, the man who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2011 isn’t joining the Browns as a member of the roster. Instead, Johnson will apparently come in a join the team in some sort of coaching/mentoring capacity.
@Browns Can you ask Hue if I can come in & work with the receivers, thanks.

Gonna ask Hue if I can join the Browns coaching staff as a "route running specialist" assistant receiver coach, what's the worse he can say.

He confirmed that the move to beg for a job via Twitter worked…via Twitter of course.
What a blessing Hue Jackson is, see y'all in Cleveland on the 28th, no cleats this time just knowledge

While it may seem a bit peculiar that Johnson, who spent all but one of his 11-year NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals, would reach out to a divisional rival, a lot of it likely has to do with reaching out to his old position coach with the Bengals — Hue Jackson.
That’s especially the case, since Jackson is the head coach with the Browns these days.
For all of his headaches and grandstanding, there were few wide receivers more dedicated to the actual craft of route running and the intricacies of the wide receiver position than Johnson was.
Adding him to the coaching staff for training camp can’t really hurt, especially if it is a completely structured role under Jackson’s tutelage.
