Arizona Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones hugs rookie quarterback Kyler Murray (1) after the end of first day of training camp on July 25, 2019 in Glendale, Ariz. Cardinals Training Camp 2019

The Arizona Cardinals might have lost their edge in the NFC playoff picture, but they’ve still put together a strong season and still have a chance to win the NFC West this weekend. Their success belongs to a bunch of players, but you can point to quarterback Kyler Murray and defensive end Chandler Jones as two of the biggest reasons.

The veteran pass rusher and young signal-caller have had a playful relationship all season long. Earlier in the season, the two would jab at one another in press conferences as well as on social media.

Jones responded to that dig by referring to Murray as Baby Yoda, which helped inspire a touchdown celebration.

Jones, who is a bit of a prolific Twitter personality, recently decided to unfollow Murray on the social media app. A sign of bad blood between the two Cardinals players? Hardly, as Jones told reporters that he decided to unfollow the quarterback simply because he wouldn’t follow back.

“He’s like a little brother to me, I always pick on him,” Jones said. “But I did unfollow him and I’m not following him back.”

Murray is pretty selective with his Twitter follows, which only includes 358 people. Though it should be noted that the list of follows includes Cardinals defenders such as Isaiah Simmons, J.J. Watt, and Zaven Collins. Then again, Chandler only follows 115 people, so maybe he’s even pickier.

The silly beef between the two teammates has caught the attention of other Twitter followers, who have taken sides in this goofy feud and what it says about each other’s social media habits.
