Second year lineman Forrest Lamp is in the giving spirit and found the perfect Christmas gift for his Charger teammates. If your last name is “Lamp,” of course you’re going to give those closest to you a lamp for a gift, and that’s just what Forrest did.
Lamp posted on social media about the early Christmas presents. Lamps Plus and Lamp unpacked a few pallets of lamps and the Chargers are getting some light for the holiday season.
Considering Lamp has an endorsement deal with Lamps Plus, I’m guessing this isn’t costing him anything and it’s a creative marketing plug but that doesn’t matter. I’m going to put aside my cynical thoughts because it’s Christmas and be happy for this story because it’s the thought that counts. Although, I’m sure Lamp’s teammates wished Forrest’s last name was “Ferrari.”
