It’s no secret that Carolina Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey has spent a lot of time on the injury report throughout his NFL career. That’s especially true recently as he has appeared in just 10 games throughout the previous two seasons. And it looks like there’s a chance he’s sidelined again.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, McCaffrey did not participate in the team’s practice on Wednesday due to a thigh injury.

Given McCaffrey’s injury struggles the past few seasons, the NFL world was totally unsurprised by the news with everyone seeming to make the same joke about his lack of durability.

Earlier this week, McCaffrey himself made a joke about his lack of durability when he was added to the injury report ahead of this week’s showdown with the Arizona Cardinals.

“I think at this point if I went to take a leak during practice, I’d end up on the (injury) report,” McCaffrey said.

The Carolina Panthers obviously hope that McCaffrey is able to play on Sunday because he has been the team’s workhorse on the ground this year. In three games so far this season, McCaffrey has 50 carries for 243 yards and a touchdown. He also has six catches for 57 yards out of the backfield.
