We live in a day and age where even the most mild threat can be cause for alarm. If that is the case, Ciara is breaking the glass and pulling the fire alarm over perceived threats from Future directed at her fiance, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

According to a report from TMZ, Ciara filed legal documents in an ongoing defamation lawsuit against Future, the father of her two-year-old child. Ciara pointed out various perceived threats form the rapper, including a series of emojis of guns pointing at a pair of footballs and lyrics from a song released recently. Future has previously denied posting the emojis of guns and footballs and claimed that social media post came from a fake Facebook page instead.

The lyrics from the song referenced by Ciara say “Tryna f*** my baby mama, dog what’s up with you? You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you.”

It is clear Ciara and Future have some serious differences between them, and Russell Wilson is now getting caught in the middle as he continues to advance his relationship with Ciara. The two were engaged in March and Ciara filed a defamation lawsuit against Future a month prior, claiming Future’s public comments about their previous relationship damaged her career. Future won joint custody of their son.

If Ciara thinks Wilson is in any serious danger, it would be wise to increase whatever security measures Wilson already has around him. Maybe she’s a little paranoid, but sometimes you just never know for sure.
