Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, for the second year in a row, has taken his offensive teammates on an international trip before the season starts. This year the destination is the sandy beaches of Puerto Rico.

Watson, however, would like Browns fans to know that the trip isn’t all leisure. He sent a clear message about that fact while posting a video of a workout to his Instagram Stories.

“Work gone come first!” the quarterback wrote for the caption.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski has previously spoken positively about Watson and the offensive missing voluntary team activities in order to take the trip.

“He did (discuss it with me), but as you know, voluntary program,” told reporters during rookie minicamp. “I’m very appreciative of the guys that are here and working here, and then when the guys decide that they want to get together and be a team, I’m very much in favor of that.”

Stefanski went on to say that he wasn’t sure if Watson was able to take scripted plays with him to work on with his teammates.

“I don’t know if we’re allowed to,” Stefanski said. “So if we’re not allowed to, no. If we’re allowed to, yes.”

Browns fans will certainly hope that Watson playing a full season under center will improve their team’s record. The Browns finished 7-10 last year, good for last place in the vaunted AFC North.
