Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is one of the most controversial figures in the league.

Watson served an 11-game suspension to begin last season after more than 20 message therapists accused him of gross sexual misconduct. This year, however, Watson will be under center from Game 1.

To build camaraderie among his offensive teammates, Watson is treating them to an international trip just like he did last summer. This year, he’s taking the offensive unit to Puerto Rico.

“Watson and about 16 of his offensive teammates will miss the final week of Phase II of the voluntary offseason program, which according to the NFL ‘may include individual or group instruction and drills, as well as perfect play drills, and drills and plays with offensive players lining up across from offensive players and defensive players lining up across from defensive players, conducted at a walk-through pace. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted,'” Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com noted in her report.

She went on to say, however, that there will be “plenty of workouts in Puerto Rico,” along with “recreational activities, team dinners, and hanging out and getting to know each other.”

Whether this helps the Browns’ offensive chemistry remains to be seen. The Browns finished 7-10 last season, good enough for last place in the AFC North.
