To nobody’s surprise, the Cleveland Browns are starting slow this year, sitting at 0-2 through two weeks after losses to two divisional opponenets, the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. The season is young, but frustrations are already mounting, and star pass rusher Myles Garrett made his displeasure with the state of things known.

“(It’s) embarrassing. We got to be better on defense. We got to be better as a team. They slowly chipped away and we did a solid job, holding them to 3 when we could, and then eventually the dam broke and they just did whatever they want, and we have to continue to play a 60-minute game,” the former Defensive Player of the Year said.

Things aren’t just going poorly for Garrett and the defense; the Browns’ offense has been struggling as well, with veteran quarterback Joe Flacco throwing more interceptions than touchdowns so far.  Many fans are eager for the Browns to turn to one of their rookie quarterbacks, Shedeur Sanders or Dillon Gabriel, but head coach Kevin Stefanski is content to stick with the veteran presence.

Browns Stefanski said he won’t consider a quarterback change from Joe Flacco to Dillon Gabriel,” Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot reported.

That doesn’t mean Stefanski and the Browns are staying completely stagnant. Cleveland is starting a rookie at running back this weekend after the veterans failed to leave their marks in the first two weeks of the season.

“The Browns have moved rookie RB Quinshon Judkins, who signed with the team only 11 days ago, to RB1 on the public depth chart,” Pro Football Talk reported.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Well he is good lol it wasn’t an on the field issue,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Lol should’ve done this with the QB position too,” someone else added.

“He might turn my fantasy team up a notch. We gone see,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Stefanski turns to one of his rookie quarterbacks soon as well.
