The Indianapolis Colts are dealing with immense organizational change at the moment. The franchise’s longtime owner, Jim Irsay, recently passed away, paving the way for his daughter, Carlie-Irsay Gordon, to take the reins of the franchise.
Now, Irsay Gordon is getting candid on some of the tough organizational changes she felt needed to be made in the best interest of the franchise, according to one prominent insider.
“Colts owner Carlie-Irsay Gordon, via the local broadcast, says there were multiple things she had to look back on from last year and change: ‘I love Gus (Bradley), but it was time to move on from Gus,'” reported James Boyd on Twitter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Shes got a lot more to look back on and change. Team looks pretty awful. Can’t beat Greenbays 2s with our 1s,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Oh but it wasn’t time to move on from ah guy who hasn’t won the division ever? It’s been over 10 years and that bum hasn’t had any good results,” someone else added.
“It was definitely time for a change,” another fan wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see what other changes Carlie-Irsay Gordon has planned for the franchise now that she is calling all the shots.
