Coming into Sunda, the question was whether the Indianapolis Colts would bring back Anthony Richardson as their starting quarterback.

The answer, it turns out, is “not yet.’

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Colts will start Joe Flacco for the second straight week.

“Anthony Richardson (oblique) practiced all week and will serve as the emergency No. 3 QB,” Pelissero wrote. “He could play if needed. But they want to give him another week. So, Flacco gets the ball again.”

Ian Rapoport added that Richardson will serve as the No. 3 quarterback for Indy on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Richardson missed last Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars with an oblique injury. Flacco stepped in and completed 33 of 44 attempts for 359 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in that loss.

The Colts remain invested in Richardson as their quarterback of the future, but if Flacco continues to shine, you have to wonder if the veteran will continue to get looks.
