After two weeks of people saying the NFL is dead, the league responded in Week 3 with a handful of games that reminded everyone why the NFL is the most watched sport in the United States. Following last week’s results, only two undefeated teams remain (Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs), while five teams are still looking for their first win of the season.

After the league looked like its old self last week, can they keep up the excitement in Week 4?

Chicago Bears (1-2) at Green Bay Packers (2-1)8:25pm ET, CBS

For the third straight year, the Bears will head to Green Bay to face the Packers for a Thursday night matchup. The teams have split their two previous meetings at Lambeau, but Chicago has only won two of its last nine games since 2008 at the house that Vince Lombardi built.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be looking to extend his streak of regular season games with at least 300 passing yards to six (dating back to 2016) on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Bears quarterback Mike Glennon has thrown for at least 300 yards just three times during his entire five-year career in the NFL.

New Orleans Saints (1-2) at Miami Dolphins (1-1) – 9:30am ET, FOX (in London, England)

The NFL’s second game across the pond in 2017 features two of the top offensive minds in the game today, Sean Payton and Adam Gase. Unfortunately for Gase, though, his Miami Dolphins offense has only been able to average 12.5 points per game so far this season (30th in the league).

This matchup could end up being pretty entertaining for the London fans who enjoy a ton of scoring. Especially since opposing quarterbacks have a rating of at least 109 when throwing against the Saints or Dolphins defenses this year.

Tennessee Titans (2-1) at Houston Texans (1-2)1:00pm ET, CBS

So are the Titans legit this year or are they just having a few good games? They lost a close one to the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 and then followed that contest up by shellacking the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks in Weeks 2 and 3.

In all honesty, their matchup with Houston this week may reveal the most about how legit Tennessee actually is this year. The Titans have not won a game in Houston since the 2011 season, back when Tennessee quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was able to out-duel Texans signal caller Jake Delhomme in a battle for the ages (woof).

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) at New York Jets (1-2)1:00pm ET, CBS

With a win this weekend, the Jaguars would be off to their best start to open a season since 2007. Wait, what?

Yes, Jacksonville has a very good chance to begin this year 3-1. Led by a power running game and a talented defense, head coach Doug Marrone has Jaguars fans convinced they no longer need to sign Tim Tebow. (Well, at least for the most part.)

Carolina Panthers (2-1) at New England Patriots (2-1)1:00pm ET, FOX

After their defense allowed more than 350 total yards to the New Orleans Saints last week, the Panthers head to New England on Sunday to face a Patriots team whose offense is averaging 441 total yards per game this season.

But as good as New England’s offense has been this year, their defense has been borderline atrocious. Against the pass, the Patriots’ defense is dead last in the NFL, while their run defense is not much better, ranking 26th in the league so far this season.

For a team like Carolina that is struggling to get anything going on offense this year, Sunday’s matchup with New England could be the spark they need to begin lighting up the scoreboard in 2017.

Detroit Lions (2-1) at Minnesota Vikings (2-1)1:00pm ET, FOX

The latest version of “NFL officials screwing the Lions” saw Detroit lose a game on the final play last week to the Atlanta Falcons thanks to a funky rule that was only put into effect by the refs stopping the clock to review the play. Obviously, Detroit would be on the losing side of a game ending in such an odd way.

Now they get to travel to Minnesota to face a Vikings team that is still trying to figure out how Case Keenum played so well as their quarterback in Week 3. The Lions have performed well in Minnesota recently, though, having won two of their past three games in the Vikings home stadium, including a matchup that required overtime in 2016.

Buffalo Bills (2-1) at Atlanta Falcons (3-0)1:00pm ET, CBS

This could actually be one of the more entertaining games of the week, surprisingly enough. Buffalo is off to a good start this season and the Falcons have picked up right where they left off last year.

While many will be focused on the showdown between the Bills’ defense and Atlanta’s offense, the more impactful matchup could actually be between Buffalo’s rushing attack and the Falcons’ run defense. Atlanta’s defensive group has given up four touchdowns to opposing running backs in 2017 (tied for the second-most in the NFL) and Buffalo’s LeSean McCoy will be chomping at the bit to find the end zone for the first time this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) at Baltimore Ravens (2-1)1:00pm ET, CBS

What once was one of the most entertaining rivalries in the NFL, this weekend’s game between the Steelers and Ravens will probably not be of the super-exciting variety.

Pittsburgh’s offense hardly looks as intimidating as it should be this season and Baltimore is coming off a game in which they just benched quarterback Joe Flacco. Although, the result of this game will likely come into play later this year if both are still fighting for the top of the AFC North.

Cincinnati Bengals (0-3) at Cleveland Browns (0-3)1:00pm ET, CBS

Who knew the toilet bowl was so early this season? Not as many expected the Bengals to be winless at this point in the season. But the Browns? Yeah, no surprise that they haven’t won a game yet this year.

If Cincinnati ends up losing this week, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis might as well start packing and put his house on the market.

Los Angeles Rams (2-1) at Dallas Cowboys (2-1)1:00pm ET, FOX

Like Buffalo and Atlanta, this is another oddly intriguing matchup during Week 4.

The game will feature two of the league’s best young quarterback/running back duos in the Rams’ Jared Goff and Todd Gurley and Dallas’ Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. It should definitely be an interesting game, considering Los Angeles is averaging 14 more points per game than the Cowboys this year. (This is not even fake news.)

Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) at Los Angeles Chargers (0-3)4:05pm ET, FOX

For the third week in a row, the Chargers will attempt to win their first regular season home game in Los Angeles since 1960. Their chance for a victory seems to be as good as any this week against the Eagles.

Philadelphia is 2-1 this season, but has yet to have a game that has really left anyone impressed by their performance. Then again, maybe playing in front of a sold-out crowd of Eagles fans in Los Angeles will motivate them to put on a show.

New York Giants (0–3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1)4:05pm ET, FOX

Raise your hand if you’re excited for this game. If you are, maybe find a new hobby like knitting or something instead of watching this matchup on Sunday.

The most intriguing part about this game may be watching to see which team’s quarterback will throw the most interceptions. An edge has to be given to the Giants’ Eli Manning over Tampa Bay’s Jameis Winston due to experience, right?

San Francisco 49ers (0-3) at Arizona Cardinals (1-2)4:05pm ET, FOX

Man, there are some real poopers on this week’s schedule. This game being another one of them. Everyone must be so excited to watch an aging Carson Palmer attempt to lead the Cardinals to a victory over a winless 49ers team. (Nope.)

Remember when everyone was praising new San Francisco general manager John Lynch for all of his great moves this offseason? Yeah, good times.

Oakland Raiders (2-1) at Denver Broncos (2-1)4:25pm ET, CBS

It is a shame that CBS does not have the double-header for this week’s schedule because everyone should be given the opportunity to view this late-afternoon matchup between two bitter rivals. Despite Oakland winning two of its last three games against the Broncos, the Raiders have only won one game in Denver since 2012.

Picking the Broncos to win this Sunday seems like a good choice, until you forget to factor in whether or not Denver linebacker Von Miller will draw a penalty for pretending to help a Raiders player up off the ground.

Indianapolis Colts (1-2) at Seattle Seahawks (1-2) 8:30pm ET, NBC

The only thing the Colts accomplished last week by defeating the Cleveland Browns was guaranteeing that their season will not be a winless one.

Now they get to travel to Seattle to play a Seahawks team that has won 13 of its last 14 home primetime games since 2007. Playing in Seattle at night just is not an ideal scenario for the Seahawks’ opponents. So if Indianapolis comes out victorious after Sunday night, it will be a literal miracle.

Washington Redskins (2-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (3-0)8:30pm ET, ESPN

A few times a year, ESPN will have a game scheduled for Monday Night Football that all NFL fans are actually excited to watch. This week’s matchup between the Redskins and the Chiefs is one of those games.

Kansas City is on some sort of mission this year and no one can seem to keep up with them. Washington dropped their opening game of the season, but have looked impressive in the last two weeks in wins over the Rams and Raiders.

One thing that can be guaranteed about this game, Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium is going to be extremely loud on Monday night. Like being able to hear the crowd at home even if your TV is on mute loud.
