The Los Angeles Rams have done everything in their power this NFL offseason to “run it back,” as the team discussed during their Super Bowl championship parade back in February.

They decided to bring in veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson as well as eight-time Pro Bowl linebacker Bobby Wagner, while also retaining key pieces such as Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald this offseason.

It looks like they may be at the top of the NFC yet again next season, but Kupp is asking for the team to bring back another piece that played a big role in last year’s playoff run.

Kupp detailed that he has talked “a lot” to free-agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr, who played a big role for the team after receiver Robert Woods went down for the year with a torn ACL last regular season.

“I want him back. I want him to be a part of the Los Angeles Rams,” Kupp told Matt Audilet of The Spun. “We’ll have him come pursue a Super Bowl with us again. He was just such a great teammate, such a great person, incredible football player. I learned a ton from him. I want him to come back so bad, but that’s something that they’re working through.”

“I’ll just keep asking him, keep asking him what it’s looking like. Hopefully one of these days he gives me the thumbs up that he’s got something and he’s coming back.”

Beckham was seemingly in line for a big contract in the free agency market after a successful end of the year in Los Angeles, but he unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in the Super Bowl.

That will likely put him in yet another year of playing on a short-term contract.

It appears that things may be heading for a return to Los Angeles for Beckham, as head coach Sean McVay also said earlier this week that the Rams “would love” to see him re-sign.

That would make for a passing game with Kupp, Robinson, and Beckham as the three top targets for Matthew Stafford.

With an ever-improving defense to pair along with that, there is no telling how impressive the Rams could look next year.
