Coming off a disappointing defeat to the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys will look to right the ship in a matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Ahead of the Week 11 game, Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse offered some high praise for Minnesota star wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Kearse detailed the potential matchup problems for Dallas in dealing with the 8-1 Vikings. At the top of his list is Jefferson, who Kearse called the “best receiver” in football.

“He’s the best receiver in the league,” Kearse said of Jefferson via DallasCowboys.com. “The tape doesn’t lie. You can say whatever you want to say, you turn on the tape and you see it. He gets open against everybody. He plays well against every opponent. Every top corner you put in front of him, he’s going out and he’s making his play. The tape doesn’t lie.”

Whether or not most feel that Jefferson is the best receiver in football, he certainly has a very good argument.

Jefferson is coming off a monster game against the Buffalo Bills, where he racked in 10 receptions for a whopping 193 yards and a touchdown, including the frontrunner for catch-of-the-year in the NFL this season. He currently ranks second in the NFL in receiving yards this season, only behind Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Cowboys’ defense will surely have Jefferson as a huge gameplan focus this week, and limiting his success could go a long way in potentially getting a crucial victory for Dallas this weekend.
