There is perhaps no better tradition for many sports fans than Thanksgiving NFL football, which always includes a game involving the Dallas Cowboys. Some important news dropped on Tuesday as the Cowboys revealed who will be playing at halftime.
Dallas revealed that this year’s halftime performance on Thanksgiving will be done by The Jonas Brothers for their game against the New York Giants.

It appears that the Jonas Brothers are certainly excited to be receiving this honor, as all three of the members of the band took to social media to cumulatively post the message “See you soon.”

Big day for the Cowboys who acquired DT Johnathan Hankins in a trade with the Raiders to bolster their leaky run defense.

This will actually be the second time that the Jonas Brothers are performing on Thanksgiving for the Cowboys, with their first appearance coming in 2008 before AT&T Stadium was even built.
The game sets up to be an important one for the Dallas Cowboys, who are currently in third place in the NFC East despite being 5-2. They are currently behind the Philadelphia Eagles and Giants, who sit at 6-0 and 6-1, respectively.
New York’s only loss this season came at the hands of the Cowboys in Week 3, so they will certainly be playing with a chip on their shoulder when these two teams face off again.
If you are spending Thanksgiving with your family who doesn’t enjoy football, but does enjoy the Jonas Brothers, maybe there is a chance you can now convince them to let you watch the game for this highly anticipated halftime show.
