Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys are confident that they’ll be able to turn things around after an extremely disappointing 2024 season. After signing both quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to massive extensions before the start of the season, the Cowboys failed to make the playoffs.

A lot of the Cowboys’ struggles can be attributed to injuries that ravaged their star players on both sides of the ball, including a hamstring injury that prematurely ended Prescott’s season.

Now, there’s an update on Prescott’s injury, although it’s not the sort of news that Cowboys fans will want to hear.

“More than five months later, Dak Prescott’s hamstring injury hasn’t fully healed. Which makes it far more severe than the usual hamstring injury,” reported Pro Football Talk on Monday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Yeah, it was partially torn off the bone. This isn’t surprising,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“It wasn’t the usual hamstring injury – it ended his season,” another fan added.

“It was torn off the bone. He went on IR for the year. No shit it was far more severe than the usual hamstring injury,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Prescott is ready to go in time for the start of the season.
