It’s not a secret that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, but it seems that the two-time Pro Bowler turns it up a notch when he takes on one particular team: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to Dallas Cowboys insider Bobby Belt, Prescott’s completion percentage against the Buccaneers is the highest of any quarterback against a single team.

“Fun stat I just stumbled on while researching Cowboys/Bucs earlier this morning: Dak Prescott’s 79% completion percentage against Tampa Bay is the highest of any quarterback against any team in NFL history (minimum 100 attempts),” Belt said in a Tweet.

Unfortunately for Prescott and his team, the Cowboys don’t play the Bucs often. In fact, in Prescott’s six-year NFL career, he’s only faced Tampa Bay three times, but he’s definitely made the most of it.

Prescott is 2-1 against the Buccaneers throughout his career, losing last year’s matchup by a score of 31-29. However, the loss was certainly not his fault as he completed 42-of-58 passes for an eye-popping 403 yards and three touchdowns, though he did have one interception.

Given these numbers, Prescott probably hopes he could play the Buccaneers every game of his career. But at least he’ll have the chance to open the 2022 season against Tampa Bay on Sept. 11.
