The last time the Buffalo Bills took on the Cincinnati Bengals, Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin suffered a terrifying injury that left him in need of life-saving CPR on the field. And after a recovery that was nothing short of miraculous, Hamlin is now out of the hospital. And even though he obviously will not be able to join the team on the field for Sunday afternoon’s game, that doesn’t mean he can’t provide some inspiration off the field.

According to a report from Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports, Damar Hamlin is in attendance for Sunday afternoon’s playoff game against the Bengals and is in the team’s locker room – presumably giving them some last minute inspiration before the Division Round showdown.

Hamlin is not expected to make a public appearance or go out on the field at any point during the game, but his mere presence at the game will undoubtedly provide a lift to both the fans and the team, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

It’s expected to be quite a game between the Bengals and Bills on Sunday, and Hamlin’s presence after the near-tragic events during last week’s game only adds to it.
