Damar Hamlin visited the White House and United States President Joe Biden this week. The Buffalo Bills safety, who went into cardiac arrest during a Monday Night Football game, shared huge news with Biden about his playing career.

In a video provided by the President’s POTUS account, Hamlin informed the President and, thus, the Twittersphere at large that he thinks he’ll play again.

Mark Maske of The Washington Post tweeted, “Damar Hamlin to President Biden on whether he thinks he will be able to play: ‘Yeah, I think so.'”

Hamlin’s cardiac arrest made headlines around the world after it occurred. He seems well on his way to making a dramatic full recovery after the terrible medical event.

Hamlin’s trip to see the President followed his trip to Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona in February.

The Bills drafted Damar Hamlin in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Since then, Hamlin has played in 29 games and started 13. He has four career passes defended, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

The President’s involvement with Hamlin rocked social media. Their tweet has received over 830,000 views, over 5,200 likes, over 800 retweets, and over 130 quotes.

President Biden and the POTUS account tweeted another post with Hamlin on Thursday. That tweet scored over 8 million views on Twitter, over 47,000 likes, 5,000+ retweets, and 500+ quotes.
