Another Dallas Cowboys player is in hot legal water, as linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested over the Fourth of July for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Frisco, Texas.

Wilson was backing into a spot at the Toyota Stadium parking lot when he got into an argument with a group of people, allegedly hit a woman with his car and showed a gun.

Wilson is the second Cowboy arrested this offseason, after safety Nolan Carroll was arrested for DUI. The team has also been heavily criticized for appeasing players who assault women, as they signed convicted abuser Greg Hardy.

There is no news yet on Wilson’s role with the team, according to Dallas News:

“We are aware of the situation, and we are in the process of gathering information,” Rich Dalrymple, the Cowboys’ senior vice president of public relations, said in the email. “We will not have a comment at this time.”

Wilson was an occasional starter on last year’s team, and he was expected to start at times this year, as well.
