The Cleveland Browns are trying to turn things around as quickly as possible. Earlier this week, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam even admitted that he set the team back by trading for Deshaun Watson, an interesting move considering Watson is still currently on the Browns’ roster.

However, with Watson’s status for next year uncertain following the setback he had in his recovery from his Achilles injury, the Browns still don’t know who their starting quarterback will be entering next season.

Many believe that the franchise will address the position in the draft with the second overall pick, but one ESPN expert thinks the team may be going in a different direction.

“I think Kirk Cousins will eventually be with the Cleveland Browns.. If I were the Browns and I was getting Cousins, I would draft Travis Hunter at number two,” Dan Orlovsky said in an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Fans reacted to the statement on social media.

“These know it all gonna pound the table for Cousins and Rodgers every time. Meanwhile the Jets didn’t even sniff the playoffs and the Falcons got their wish of being just good enough to not draft a QB. Maybe yall don’t know what you’re talking about,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“If this happens I’m slamming Kirk for comeback player of the year,” one fan added.

“Why would falcons trade him and still have to pay him. He ain’t starting so keep as a backup you paying him anyway. Also what you think ATL going to ask for,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Browns choose to address the position.
