On Tuesday, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay delivered quite a shockwave through the NFL world when he revealed that he thinks Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder should be removed as the team’s owner and that he believes the league will eventually receive votes from the 24 team owner required for that to happen. On Wednesday, we got a little information about how long that process could take.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network revealed that no vote will happen on until the investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment, misogyny, and financial fraud concludes.

“The next league meeting is in December in Dallas,” Rapoport said. “That’s the next one. Then, there’s a big one in March. … There are many investigations into Dan Snyder. The one from Mary Jo White, which the league is conducting, that really needs to finish and reveal its findings – which will be made public. That needs to happen before any vote would happen.”

Snyder has continued to maintain his innocence throughout the entire process, despite the allegations. However, earlier this week, a bombshell report revealed that Snyder was threatening NFL owners and commissioner Roger Goodell over “dirt” that he’s collected, likening the league to the mafia.
