After the Las Vegas Raiders traded Darren Waller on Tuesday, many wondered why the team would pull off such a move.

Some thought the reason was because of the $12 million salary he was owed this year. As it turns out, it might be something more personal.

According to Vic Tafur of The Atletic, head coach Josh McDaniels had accidentally leaked to a Las Vegas newspaper that Waller was about to marry Las Vegas Aces star Kesley Plum.

The announcement was later made public in the newspaper. The couple was reportedly not pleased with that at all as they wanted to keep their wedding private.

Now some people may think this is not a big deal. But obviously, this caused a rift between the player and the coach.

Some Raider fans are clearly upset with McDaniels and how he has handled this whole situation and blamed him for the team trading Waller to the Giants.

Raider fans can be very unforgiving as you can tell but this is a critical year for McDaniels. This team has high expectations going into this year again.

McDaniels is supposed to be an offensive guru but he made no such magic this year with the Raiders. They struggled even with the offensive talent around them and now that Waller is gone, you have to wonder who will they replace him with.

It better be someone as equally as good or better as Darren Waller, or fans once again won’t be pleased with McDaniels.
