The Las Vegas Raiders suffered an absolutely brutal loss to the Minnesota Vikings when they fell by a final score of just 3-0. It’s obviously embarrassing for the offense to fail to score a single point, but as star wide receiver Davante Adams points out, it’s even more embarrassing that the Vikings were only able to score three points, and the Raiders still lost.

During a press conference this week, Davante Adams said that the loss “just looks horrible.”

“I mean, it’s embarrassing, too,” Adams said according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. “Not that that’s the main thing that drives it, but you walk off that field and you’ve got a lot of fans that pay their money to come to see you play and you go up and put up a goose egg. It almost looked worse that they only scored three, too. You’ve seen plenty of teams win, 20, 22-0, whatever, but when the other team wins by three and they only score three, it just looks horrible. So, hopefully we don’t make any more history like that on this side.”

The Raiders will have a chance to bounce back this week with a game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night.
