Davante Adams catch Photo Credit: Fox TV

Davante Adams just made one of the most incredible catches in his entire life. In more ways than one, too!

Adams was acquired by the Las Vegas Raiders in a blockbuster trade this off-season. It took just one try for the stud wide receiver to break the single-season record for receiving yards in team history. Adams didn’t just break the record with an ordinary catch. No, the former Fresno State star just wowed the entire NFL world with an absolutely amazing catch.

With the Raiders down 34-27 to the San Francisco 49ers, and facing a 1st and 20, they needed someone to make a big play. So, Enter Adams, who hauled in a deep pass thrown by backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham. Now, let’s roll the videotape, courtesy of our own Twitter.

Wow. I mean, what can you even say? Adams is regarded as one of the best receivers in the entire NFL for a reason. That catch showed exactly why. The extension, the hands, and the moment. Everything about it was amazing and that was the consensus thought after it happened.

His own team asked if he was human.

Bud Geracie pointed out the awesome similarities between Adams’ historic season and the previous record-holder, Tim Brown, and the then-record-setting season he had.

USA TODAY’s Andrew Joseph’s mind was BLOWN by the awesome catch.

Bussin’ With The Boys waxed about the sheer effortlessness Adams showed off.

Fox 5 Vegas’ Feven Kay called Adams “magical.” Easy to understand why! Kay also provided an alternate angle of the catch, too!

ESPN’s Stephanie Bell said Adams showed “why he’s worth every penny.” Hard to argue.
