Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has been openly critical of the team’s offense throughout this season as well as the team’s failure to get him the ball. And it’s safe to say that frustration continued during Monday night’s loss to the Detroit Lions.
In the game, Davante Adams had just one catch for 11 yards. He was targeted six other times in the game and was wide open on two plays that would likely have gone for long touchdowns but Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed him with two widely inaccurate throws that Adams had no chance to catch.
After the game, Adams’ frustration was evident as he could be seen slamming his helmet in anger on the sideline.

"Yeah, that's the frustration that comes with playing the way that the Raiders have all season on offense… Back in the heyday of Monday Night Football, this is about when Dandy Don would start crooning."- Troy Aikman pic.twitter.com/Hy4LvLTwRj

“Honestly, I don’t know what to say at this moment. I truly don’t,” Adams said after the game according to Pro Football Talk. “I wish I had the words to say something that’s not going to get blown up in the media and taken out of context, so I’m going to just. . . . I truly, I just don’t know.”
Adams’ words and actions generated a lot of reactions on social media.
I hate this so much for him. 😭 https://t.co/RVTnVGY7JE

I truly don't understand any Packer fan gloating about Davante in Las Vegas. He'd always wanted to play closer to family and with Carr, so apparently this is "karma" for those decisions? https://t.co/D0A1HV0GVc pic.twitter.com/5x3XjiLhGz

Left one of the greatest QBs of all time to play with his friend and former college teammate, Derek Carr.
The Raiders ship his QB out of town after one season.
Bring in a Patriots re-tread at head coach and at QB.@tae15adams deserves a medal for being such a pro this season. https://t.co/iCrLzu3sXl

We’ll have to see if the Raiders can get this offense fixed this season.
