David Njoku pulled off the latest seemingly impossible one-handed catch Sunday, and the play saved the day — and maybe the season — for the Cleveland Browns.
The athletic tight end soared. high to make grab a Jacoby Brissett pass for a 12-yard touchdown.
Njoku’s catch was phenomenal enough, but the circumstances earn it extra credit. The play came on 4th-and-10, with only 32 seconds remaining. And it allowed the Browns to tie the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
WHAT A CATCH!

The catch ended up being the difference in the game, as the Browns went on to defeat the Bucs in overtime, 23-17.
There have been several incredible one-handed catches lately, including two gems by Justin Jefferson and Stefon Diggs in the same game a couple of weeks ago. But Njoku’s grab, given the game situation and degree of difficulty, ranks up there with any of them.
Football fans praised the incredible catch.
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME DAVID NJOKU!” tweeted Robert Griffin III.
“What a ridiculous catch to tie it up in Cleveland,” tweeted Matthew Berry.
“Why is this guy not getting 10-12 targets a game?” tweeted Nick Owens.

The Browns are still alive for the playoffs at 4-7, and if they can get hot and make the postseason, they’ll undoubtedly look back at Njoku’s catch as one of the key moments in their season.
