The Cleveland Browns have a lot to sort out by the start of next season. After a year that saw the Browns struggle mightily across four different starting quarterbacks, star pass rusher, and face of the franchise Myles Garrett requested a trade.
As if that weren’t enough, the Browns’ ownership is trying to move the team out of downtown Cleveland against the wishes of the city and most of the fanbase. Now there’s a new problem the Browns can add to the list, according to one prominent NFL insider.
“Browns OT Dawand Jones recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to address a lingering issue he played through last year, per source. Jones, a promising young tackle who has started 17 games, will get off crutches to begin running soon and will be ready for camp, per source,” reported ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Friday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“He will enter camp at like 450,” one fan wrote on Twitter, referencing Jones’ well-documented struggle to stay at a healthy playing weight thus far in his career.
“He needs to lose 40lbs Minimum. Right now, he’s one of the worst tackles in the entire NFL. And most of the fanbase and Cleveland Media think he’s a stud and one of our building blocks. It’s insane,” one fan added.
“Let’s hope he doesn’t balloon to 4 Bills in the meantime,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how Jones recovers from the surgery.
