The Baltimore Ravens are still recovering from a brutal loss to the New York Jets this weekend after the team blew yet another double-digit lead in the game, but it looks like the team is getting some good news as one veteran star receiver appears set to join the team’s lineup.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson is set to join the Ravens after passing his physical exam.
Veteran WR DeSean Jackson officially passed his physical with the Ravens and was signed to their practice squad with the expectation to soon be added to their 53-man roster.

“Veteran WR DeSean Jackson officially passed his physical with the Ravens and was signed to their practice squad with the expectation to soon be added to their 53-man roster,” Schefter said on Twitter.
Jackson is now 35 years old and entering his 15th year in the NFL, but he proved last season that he still has plenty to offer an NFL team as he made several big plays for both the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Rams.
It’s a big signing for a veteran player, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Wednesday afternoon.
He’s still got it! https://t.co/S90an3kxQn

Good to see that DeSean has kept fit and ready for this opportunity. He may practice today to begin his game conditioning program possibly even have some initial physical therapy with the training staff. It's good we got him in early. #RavensFlock https://t.co/MB9YVPs7WH

#RavensFlock add some depth as we have wait for Bateman's return from his foot injury. Jackson is older, but displayed speed last time we saw him. A notable name to add in deeper leagues, but I would not expect much from him. #AFCNorth#NerdsDesk#NerdHerd@DynastyNerds https://t.co/wA3YAl1RO6

Jackson may be well past his prime, but it’s clear that he can still add some sort of a boost to the Ravens offense.
