The Deshaun Watson saga has gone on for the entirety of the NFL offseason as many speculate how long he will ultimately be suspended based on the incoming appeal of his six-game suspension.
It appears that we may be nearing a final resolution when it comes to Watson, as reports have emerged that indicate the appeal will be decided in the coming days, according to NFL insider Dan Graziano.
“Sources close to the Deshaun Watson situation believe a resolution could come today or tomorrow. Recent talks between NFL and Watson’s reps have heightened hope that they can reach a settlement without Peter C. Harvey having to rule, but it’s unclear how much longer he will wait.”

It certainly sounds like there will either be a settlement that will be reached between the NFL and Watson that could result in a longer punishment, or Judge Harvey will run out of patience on the matter and make his decision.
There have been ongoing talks between Watson and the NFL on a settlement, but the Cleveland Browns quarterback has remained adamant that he does not want a year-long suspension, which it certainly seems like the NFL is hoping for.
Regardless of what the outcome will be, the Browns need to move forward with a season-long plan at quarterback, and it looks like they may get a clear picture of what that will look like in the coming days.
