While hosting a Super Bowl can bring a lot of attention to a city and be a big boost to its economy, it can also be like the circus coming to town for the locals. And a day before the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles do battle at Super Bowl LVII, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker made it known that he’s ready for the circus to leave town.
Super Bowl LVII is at State Farm Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale. Phoenix has hosted a lot of the week’s festivities. And less than 24 hours before kickoff, Booker was ready for everyone to leave town.
“Can all y’all get out my city,” he tweeted. “I like it better quiet.”

Booker found a lot of agreeing opinions on Twitter.
This is the exact reason why I didn’t want to go home for Super Bowl weekend.

Fortunately for Booker and everyone else in the Valley of the Sun, the end is near. After Sunday’s game, the circus will leave the area rather quickly, returning life back to a relatively normal state for a while.
And there’s even better news. Super Bowl LVII is the first hosted at State Farm Stadium since Super Bowl XLIX in February 2015. That was the first Super Bowl held at the venue since Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. So, with one seven-year gap and another eight-year gap, plus cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles likely now in the regular rotation, it will likely be a while before the Super Bowl returns to Arizona again.
