Along with steady hands, speed is one of the top skills any wide receiver in the NFL or college football world can possess. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is gifted with both but have you ever wondered if Bryant could outrun a horse? Why wouldn’t you? Well, it turns out he can’t, unless of course he gets a quick head start.

The video evidence is likely a few years old now (2009 or so), but Pistols Firing recently discovered the video evidence of Bryant racing a horse. This isn’t just some random horse, mind you. This is Bullet, the official live mascot for Oklahoma State. Bullet’s pretty fast. But we have to give Bryant some props here. He holds his own in the straight head-to-head 50-yard dash, coming up a few yards shy of Bullet in Round 1:

In Round 2, Bryant actually gets a slight head start on Bullet, which proves to be the difference as he crosses the 50-yard line slightly before the speedy horse:

We can only assume Bryant had on the right cleats.
