It’s no secret that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill are two of the fastest players in the NFL, but Metcalf wants to find out one and for all which of the two players is actually faster.

During an appearance on FS1’s Undisputed this week, DK Metcalf made it clear that he has tried to set up a race with Tyreek Hill where the two can determine who is actually faster. However, even though he has had “my people contact his people,” the two have not been able to actually agree to a race.

“Look, I had my people contact his people, we still couldn’t come to an agreement,” Metcalf said on Undisputed according to Harrison Reno of SI.com. “We’ve been trying to do this for two years now. We haven’t come to an agreement in two years but you’ve seen me running in a track meet, I didn’t race against no 30-year-olds but whenever you wanna get this done, let me know.”

It’s safe to say that an event like this would generate a ton of interest around the league, particularly if it’s done during the offseason. So fans would love it if the two sides would work out some sort of agreement and make it happen.

For what it’s worth, Hill allegedly had the faster 40-yard dash time, running his in 4.29 seconds compared to Metcalf’s 4.33 – however, Hill’s time did not come at the NFL Combine while Metcalf’s did. For now, however, that’s the only thing we have to compare the two.
