The Miami Dolphins are looking to right the ship after an extremely disappointing season in 2024 that saw the team miss out on the playoffs entirely. Star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed multiple weeks after suffering another scary head injury early in the season, and the Dolphins never quite recovered from his absence.

The team was also forced to manage a lingering wrist injury to star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. On Tuesday, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel gave a major update on Hill’s status moving forward.

“Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that WR Tyreek Hill had surgery on his wrist to fix a ligament issue. He’ll be out most of the offseason,” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Tyreek Hill’s wrist surgery means he’ll miss most of the offseason. Big challenge for McDaniel’s squad to stay sharp without their star WR.,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“It’s always something with Tyreek,” wrote someone else.

“Tyreek is getting traded on June 2nd,” one fan predicted.

“Sound like trade talk to me,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Hill’s future is with the Dolphins or if he is moved somewhere else after what was a rocky close to last season.
