The Miami Dolphins will be taking on the Buffalo Bills in a Wild Card matchup on Sunday that very few seem to believe they will win after the announcement earlier this week that star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will not play in the game in the game. Despite the odds being stacked against them, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill appears to be embracing this underdog status.

Hill spoke very candidly about the Dolphins’ chances during their Wild Card Weekend game in Buffalo, saying that his current situation is far different than when he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

“This one right here will mean a lot more to me because I’ve never been an underdog,” said Hill via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post. “In Kansas City, I was blessed to be on a real good football team. Here, it’s different. I feel like right now I’ve got a chip on my shoulder and so do the rest of the guys.”

While these comments are the realistic expectations of Miami without its starting quarterback, the NFL world doesn’t see this as Tyreek Hill having much confidence in his team this weekend.

“Man Hill keeps digging a hole for himself with his new team now too…” tweeted the Locked on Chiefs podcast.

“Adjusting the motivation points,” tweeted Patrick Claybon of NFL Network.

“Josh Allen said he expected a 60-minute dogfight. Sounds like the Fins are a bit ornery,” tweeted Chris Brown of the One Bills Live show on MSG.

To be fair to Hill, the team has not done much to inspire confidence as of late. After an impressive 8-3 start to the season, they went on to lose five out of their last six games, including a Week 15 loss to the Bills.
