In case you have been living under a rock, there is a presidential election this year and the gloves have already come off plenty of times in the Republican race. Donald Trump and Jeb Bush have exchanged blows at times, and Trump took another swing at one of his GOP rivals through Twitter. We typically do not plan on covering much when it comes to politics, but this time Trump brought a sports twist to his latest attack on Bush, so we had to pass it along.
Woody Johnson, owner of the NYJets, is @JebBush’s finance chairman. If Woody would’ve been w/me, he would’ve been in the playoffs, at least!

The New York Jets were eliminated from the AFC playoff with a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Trump, who tends to live in his own world at times, thinks that having the Jets owner a part of his campaign would have offered the karma needed for the Jets to reach the postseason this year. Maybe Jeb Bush will simply suggest a wall was built around the AFC playoffs to keep the Jets out.
