NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus stopped by The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday and had a lot to say about many of the athletes he represents, including highly touted prospect Jalen Carter, who has been at the center of a lot of drama the last couple of months.

Carter decided not to work out for any of the teams that don’t currently hold a Top-1o pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Asked about this, Rosenhaus said that since all of the teams at the top of the draft have told him they want to select the Georgia Bulldogs, he doesn’t see the need for him to work out for others.

“I called the outside of the top ten teams that wanted to bring in Jalen Carter for a visit & asked if they were gonna trade up,” said Rosenhaus. “Once they said no I canceled the visits because top ten teams have told me that they’re taking Jalen if he’s there.”

“Some people have come out and said why would I do this team’s can trade up? No duh,” added Rosenhaus. “Don’t you think I’ve had 100 teams trade up to take our guys in the draft? I just didn’t start becoming an agent. … Quite honestly, I don’t want to wear my client out going to visit teams if you’re not going to be able to get him. I know he’s going in the top 10. … Top-10 teams have said to me, ‘We’re taking your guy if he’s there.'”

There have been a lot of off-field concerns surrounding Carter in the months leading up to the draft. However, his ability on the field is likely to make him a very rich man on April 27 when the first night of the NFL Draft happens.
