Former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek is making headlines due to no fault of his own. Celek, who played for the Eagles from 2007 to 2017, catching 98 passes for 4,998 yards and 31 touchdowns, and was a part of the Super Bowl-winning 2017 squad, was married to a yoga and pilates instructor named Susie.
The two eventually went their separate ways, but oddly, Susie has ended up with another former Eagle: Hollis Thomas, who played defensive tackle for Philadelphia.
“Life trends show I’m not big on commitment, but I’m stuck on you big man,” she wrote on an Instagram caption of the pair.
Susie’s loved ones definitely seem to approve of her new relationship.
“I love this! You deserve all the happiness,” one person commented.
“Congratulations to you both,” someone else added
“My man Tank!!!!! Best of luck guys this is awesome,” another person added.
Hollis Thomas was drafted by the Eagles in 1996 and stayed with the franchise until 2005, so he was never teammates with Celek. Following his tenure with the Eagles, Thomas joined the New Orleans Saints, contributing to an NFC Championship run before finishing his career with stints with the St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers.
Hollis finished his NFL career with 518 total tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 20 sacks, and seven forced fumbles.
