In case you were wondering if Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni supports quarterback Jalen Hurts, let his attire speak for itself.

On Friday, the first-year head coach was sporting a green t-shirt with Hurts’ sunglassed-face on it.

That’s about as good a sign as any that the head coach is going to stand by his quarterback. And it makes a lot of sense, too. Both guys are new-ish at their jobs (Hurts finally took over the starting job late last season) and are likely going to be paired together in the minds of fans and media members as they see where this new-look Eagles squad is going.

Philly got off to a great start in the first week of the NFL season, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 32-6. Hurts had a fantastic game, garnering over 300 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. After some serious ups and downs and false starts, it looks like the Eagles have finally found a new quarterback. And that quarterback clearly has a supporter in Sirianni, who told reporters the shirt was a way to let Hurts know “I believe in him.”

Hurts and the Eagles will have another chance to build momentum this weekend when they host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
