The Philadelphia Eagles are the reigning Super Bowl champions after completely dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, and are currently in first place in the NFC East. However, this year has proven to be a turbulent one for Philadelphia.

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown has voiced displeasure for much of the year with his role in the offense, which has diminished from where it was a season ago. The Eagles lost to the Chicago Bears on Friday, thier second consecutive loss.

Many fans have put the lion’s share of the blame for Philly’s offensive woes this season on the shoulders of offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. Whether that blame is warranted or not, some of those fans appear to have taken action.

“A video surfaced on social media of multiple people appearing to throw objects at Patullo’s home. Online posts suggested it was rocks being thrown, but a Moorestown police representative clarified that it was eggs, adding that the investigation is still ongoing,” reported Tim McManus of ESPN on Monday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Guys I get we’re serious about football but it’s never ok to do something like this. Eggs are very expensive and shouldn’t be wasted on Patullo,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I speak for all real Eagles fans that we don’t claim these losers and want them jailed,” one fan added.

“Look i want buddy off the eagles staff but his home and family should be off limits,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see if those responsible for this violation are apprehended.
