The Philadelphia Eagles came into Sunday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at 5-0, the NFL’s only undefeated team. They left the same way.

This division rivalry game loomed large in what’s been a strong NFC East. And as they’ve done all year, the Eagles proved that they are among the elite teams in the NFL.

Philadelphia had a very lackluster half, but came through when needed and held on for a 26-17 victory. The Eagles outscored the Cowboys 20-3 in the second quarter and Dallas could not recover.

Their defense showed up in a big way, forcing Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush into throwing three costly interceptions.

This victory vaults Philadelphia to a 6-0 record, which is something that the franchise has not done since 2004.

The win is also significant for star quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was able to secure his ninth consecutive regular-season win as the Eagles quarterback. That has only been done by three other quarterbacks in Eagles history.

Many Eagles fans took to social media to celebrate all their success so far this season.

This start is certainly very impressive from Philadelphia, and it certainly seems plausible that they can rally off plenty more wins when you look at their remaining schedule this year.

Their next three games are against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, and Washington Commanders, which are all teams that are below .500 thus far this year.

Philadelphia’s next game against a team with a winning record will be in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Things look very bright for the Philadelphia Eagles at this point in time. They will remain undefeated through Week 7 when they enter their Bye-Week and will look to keep this win streak rolling when they return to action.
